The Town of Apex Neighborhood Beautification Grant is an annual grant application that empowers neighbors to identify innovative beautification projects that could improve their neighborhoods. This grant provides direct funding to help neighborhoods enhance the physical and social aspects of their neighborhood.

Requirements to apply:
- Attend a grant information session prior to application submission (more info below).
- Neighborhoods must be part of the Neighborhood Registry program.
- Neighborhoods must organize and complete the project. The Town only provides grant funding for the project.
- Neighborhoods must commit to researching and contacting project contractors to execute the project labor, if needed.
- Neighborhoods must have a strategy to engage and gather input about the identified project proposal from fellow neighbors within their neighborhood.
Information Sessions
Neighborhoods who are interested in applying for the Neighborhood Beautification Grant should have attended one of the grant information sessions prior to submitting their application.

What types of projects are eligible for the grant?
- Clean-up Activities
- Neighborhood clean-up projects/stream clean-ups
- Community Gardens
- Public Space Improvements
- Entrance way signage installation, replacement, or repair
- Art installation
- Landscaping
- Curb appeal improvements
Applicants are also welcome to submit additional beautification proposals.
What types of projects are NOT eligible for the grant?
- Improvement/beautification on private property
- Improvement to Town/Council-owned facilities
- Equipment or materials for programs
- Streetlights or speed bumps/traffic monitoring devices
- Community newsletters
- Improvements within gated communities or apartment complexes
- Reimbursement of previous projects
