The list below highlights major events and festivals held on an annual basis in Apex. While the Town of Apex staff organizes many of these celebrations, some of Apex's longest running events are organized by local civic and other community groups. Check our calendar for other events held throughout the year!
Community Events
These are events that non-profit organizations create, pay for, and plan. Town of Apex staff provides an event location (Town Hall Campus, Salem Street, etc.), along with staff from public safety, public works and other departments, as necessary.

- PeakFest (Apex Festival Commission, 1st Saturday in May)
- Memorial Day Ceremony (American Legion Post 124, Last Monday in May)
- Pride Festival (KERG and Apex Pride Committee, 2nd Saturday in June)
- Juneteenth Festival (Weekend around June 19th)
- Peak City Fitness Festival (FACTS for Youth, 1st Saturday in September)
- Patriot Day Ceremony (American Legion Post 124, September 11th)
- Festa Italiana (Festa Italiana NC, 3rd Saturday in September)
- Apex Oktoberfest (American Legion Post 124, 2nd Saturday in October)
- Veterans Day Ceremony (American Legion Post 124, November 11th)
- Rotary Christmas Parade (Apex Rotary Club, 1st Saturday in December)
- Chanukah Festival (Chabad of Cary, Based on Hebrew calendar)
