New Info! COVID-19 Treatment for the Uninsured
- If you are uninsured and got treatment for COVID-19 any time after February 4, 2020 then your treatment is covered retroactively and is free.
- If you have been put into collections for an unpaid medical bill that resulted from first having COVID-19, speak to someone in the billing department where your bill originated and tell them that you believe your treatment is now covered thanks to the American Rescue Plan.
- If you have had a loved one die from COVID-19 after January 20, 2020, FEMA is offering financial assistance to cover funeral costs.
