The Town of Apex is a designated Tree City USA community. Plant the Peak is a program designed to increase our overall tree canopy by providing professional installation of native trees on residential single family properties within Apex’s corporate limits, at no cost to the owner or tenant of the property.
The program covers 100% of the cost of one tree purchase and installation, per property. Plant the Peak applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
For 2025, the Plant the Peak program is offering 234 trees for Apex community members.
Since 2021, the Plant the Peak program has purchased and installed over 500 trees around Apex!
