Periodic review of real estate value is required by law in North Carolina. In Apex, this revaluation is done by Wake County staff, and happens every four years. Apex homeowners should receive information in the mail from Wake County, explaining:
- Their new assessed property value
- A form to appeal the value, if the homeowner disagrees with the assessment
- Links to more resources on understanding the revaluation process
