As of 4:00 P.M. Friday, April 19th, the outage map will only show the size and location of the outages. System Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR) will not be provided until we have had time to assess any damage in our service territory. Thank you for your patience.

Reporting an Outage: 3 Options

Note: Please avoid reporting power outages via Facebook, Nextdoor or Twitter. Doing so will delay the process of your issue being addressed.

Getting Ready to Report

  • Know your account number - You can find this printed on your bill.
  • Set up your account in the app - Don't wait until the lights are out! Follow the instructions below to set up any associated accounts in the mobile app, so that it's ready to go when you experience an outage.
  • Update your contact info with us - You can also use your phone number to report an outage, but only if that number is updated in our customer database. Complete this form or call (919) 362-8676 and press option 2 to update your info.
After you download the app, set up your service(s) by tapping Account Management, then Add Account and follow the on-screen prompts. After setup, your service(s) will be listed when you tap Account Management.

If your service is interrupted, open the app and tap Report Outage. In the My Accounts list, tap the service that is out (you can set up multiple services/locations) and follow the on-screen prompts to submit your outage report.
