FUTURE PLAN / IMPACT
The State Transportation Improvement Program identifies project R-5887 to convert the at-grade intersection of US-64 and NC-751 to an interchange, with funding for right of way acquisition in 2027 and funding for construction in 2029.
Project R-5887 is anticipated to include a bridge over US-64 along with ramps serving access to and from New Hill Road and NC-751 as well as changes to access for New Hill Olive Chapel Road at US-64.
NCDOT will be working on plans for the interchange over the next few years, which will be shared with the public during that design process.
