Apex Weekend
Holiday Events This Weekend
Downtown Apex will get festive with a full weekend of holiday cheer!

Friday, Dec 1: Christmas Tree Lighting
Saturday, Dec 2: Apex Christmas Parade
  • Starts at 5:00 pm (see parade route)
  • Sponsored by the Apex Rotary Club - please contact them with any questions you have regarding parade entries.
  • Salem Street will be closed from about 3 - 7 pm for the parade. Other downtown streets will be closed for parade staging.
A couple of guidelines regarding chairs:
Please DO wait until the road reopens after Friday's Christmas on Salem Street event (approximately 9-9:30 pm) to place your chairs along the sidewalk. If your chair is placed on the sidewalk prior to this time, it will be removed by Town staff and placed behind the Halle Cultural Arts Center for pick up.
Please DON'T tie your chairs together, or to other objects along the sidewalk - light poles, trash cans, etc. This makes it tough for people parking along Salem on Saturday to access the sidewalk.

Sunday, Dec 3: Historic Homes Tour
Gingerbread Decorating Party
Friday Flicks
