COVID-19: What we're doing.

Halle Highlights

Latest Update: February 15, 2022

Effective February 14th, the town’s State of Emergency declaration was updated, rescinding the requirement for face coverings in town-owned facilities. (This includes Town Hall, the Halle Cultural Arts Center, John M. Brown Community Center, Public Works buildings, Public Safety Stations, and The Depot.) When visiting facilities, you may continue to choose to wear a mask. However, that is no longer a requirement.

Although we do encourage individuals to wear masks when groups of people not from the same household gather indoors, there is no mask mandate issued by the Town of Apex for facilities or other spaces that are not owned by the town. Individual businesses within town limits may decide to require masks.

Wake County has issued a mask mandate that applies to their government facilities, as well as privately owned facilities in areas that are not within the corporate limits of the 12 municipalities located in Wake County. (This mandate does not cover facilities located within Apex town limits.)

The Town of Apex continues to follow the guidance provided by the CDC and direction given by the NC Governor.
