Registration
Registration for Apex residents begins on Monday, January 8, 2024. Non-resident registration begins Monday, January 22. Registration is available online and at the John M. Brown Community Center. Already registered? Click here for information about team formation and the start of the season.
About Spring Soccer
This program is coed for ages 5-17. Practices are held on weeknights with games played on Saturdays (and some weeknights or Sundays).
League age is based on a player’s age on June 30, 2024.
- Rookies (5-6)
- Pee Wee (7-8)
- Mites (9-10)
- Major (11-12)
- Junior (13-14)
- Senior (15-17)
Cost

Knowledgeable volunteer coaches are the backbone and face of our youth athletic programs. They teach skills, provide leaderships, and lead practices and games throughout the season. League schedules vary, but most leagues have one practice each week and a game on Saturday. Soccer leagues will also have an occasional game on Sunday or during the week.
All of our coaches are trained and certified through the National Youth Sports Coaches Association (NYSCA). All volunteers are required to complete a background check before participating in any practices or games. The Town of Apex follows guidelines suggested by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) for denying applications to serve as a volunteer coach.
