Registration

Registration begins Monday, May 22, 2023 9am for Apex residents and Monday, June 5, 2023 9am for non-residents. Registration will be available online and at the John M. Brown Community Center (53 Hunter Street).

About Fall Baseball

This program is for boys ages 5-15. All practices and games are held at local parks. Practice begins the week of July 31st, and games begin August 19th. Teams will meet twice a week, and the season will run through October (weather depending).

Leagues Available

  • T-Ball (5-6 coed)
  • Instructional Coach-Pitch (7-8)
  • Farm (9-10)
  • Major (11-12)
  • Junior (13-15)

A participant’s age is based on their age on October 31, 2023.

Cost

The fees are $55 for residents and $70 for non-residents. Not sure if you're an Apex resident? Use this map to check your address.

Get Involved. Volunteer to Coach! 
Knowledgeable volunteer coaches are the backbone and face of our youth athletic programs. They teach skills, provide leaderships, and lead practices and games throughout the season. League schedules vary, but most leagues have one practice each week and a game on Saturday. Baseball leagues will also have some games on weeknights.

All of our coaches are trained and certified through the National Youth Sports Coaches Association (NYSCA). All volunteers are required to complete a background check before participating in any practices or games. The Town of Apex follows guidelines suggested by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) for denying applications to serve as a volunteer coach.
