Beth Waldron: My focus on wildlife photography was born out of a simple discovery: nature soothes stress. I first began taking daily walks for health. I found when I took my camera along, I walked longer and farther compelled by the temptation of what creature might be around the next corner. I discovered by focusing my attention upon creatively capturing wildlife, I was not thinking about daily stresses. I learned wildlife is everywhere, even in the most urban of environments. The goal of my creative work is to share these wildlife encounters with others so that they too might be inspired to seek out the creatures which share our state and enjoy the unique peace which time in nature provides.
