Day to Day Responsibilities

The Town of Apex maintains 142 Miles of gravity sewer line and 33 miles of force main.

• Flush at least 10% of the total sewer collection system each year as required by the State of North  Carolina. 
• Camera main gravity sewer line for visual inspection.
• General Maintenance and repair of the gravity sewer system
• Rehab projects upgrading existing sewer mains and services.

Maintain 20 pump stations. They are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

• Remove all beaver dams that are built on our easements.
• Maintain and keep all easements and right of ways clear by mowing and removing vegetation.
