Fee Schedule
Application for approval of S&E Plan: $500 per disturbed acre (no maximum). Round number of disturbed acres to the nearest 1/10. Fees are to be paid upon plan submittal.
Performance Guarantee: $2,500 per disturbed acre in the form of a certified check, cash, or irrevocable letter of credit. The Performance Guarantee is due prior to the Town issuing a Letter of S&E Plan Approval*. Please contact Jean Weatherman at 919-249-3394 in the Engineering Department prior to submitting the Performance Guarantee.
*Applicable for site plans approved on or after 8/4/2009.
Erosion Control
Proper erosion control measures are required for every construction site in Town regardless of the project size, including single family residences. For sites exceeding 20,000 ft², an approved Erosion Control Plan is required. See the Construction Sequence and Construction Sequence Flow Chart for more information.
