Connect with us on Facebook and Twitter and receive current information about these events and more! Or check our community calendar for specific dates for each of the events.

Alive at 25

This highly interactive four-hour program, taught by law enforcement professionals, encourages young drivers between the ages of 16 and 24 to take responsibility for their driving behavior. Motor vehicle crashes continue to be the leading cause of death for persons 15-24 years of age. Alive at 25 is an effort to change the driving behavior, thereby reducing the risks associated with young drivers. Check our community calendar for specific dates.

Child ID Program

On the second Wednesday of every month, from 3-7pm, parents can bring their children to the Apex Police Department to have a Child  ID made.  All of the child’s biographical information, 10 digit digital fingerprints, 4 different photos and a voice recording of places law enforcement or parents may want to look if a child were to go missing are included on a DVD, and given to the parents. If their child were to go missing they would give the DVD to law enforcement to assist in locating the missing child.

National Night Out

Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are fighting back!  Join hundreds of your neighbors at the annual National Night Out event, held on the first Tuesday of August. This event always features FREE food, games, exhibits, and giveaways!

Operation Medicine Drop

Want to dispose of your expired, unused medicine?  Do it the right way! Keep old medicine out of kids' hands and our water system by disposing of them at our next Operation Medicine Drop. The Apex PD will take them safely off your hands -- no questions asked. Check our community calendar for specific dates.
