The Town of Apex encourages all citizens to actively participate in the stormwater program. There are two main volunteer opportunities related to stormwater that help keep our waterways clean:

• One is our Storm Drain Marking Program where volunteers help to educate their community on stormwater pollution prevention by marking storm drains in local neighborhoods.
• The other program is Big Sweep where volunteers walk a section of stream in Town collecting trash and recyclables along the way.
