The Town of Apex does not require business licenses.  However, if a business is locating to a new building or previously occupied structure, a Certificate of Zoning Compliance Application is required. If a business is proposed to be located within a homeowner’s primary residence, a Home Occupation Permit Application must be submitted and approved by the Planning Department.
