The Apex Town Council has enacted an Animal Control Ordinance which only applies to properties within the Town’s corporate limits and not to properties in the Apex ETJ.  The new Ordinance will become effective on June 1, 2007.  The Ordinance prohibits the keeping of poultry and livestock to include chickens, geese, cows, goats, sheep, swine, and similar animals.  Horses are specifically exempted from the Ordinance and therefore are still allowed.
