Apex, NC – Next up on the agenda for the Apex Economic Development Commission: identify Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) as they relate to the town’s business climate.

Apex Mayor Keith Weatherly, who chairs the committee said, “This group of local business professionals is energized to act.  But first, we all agree that it’s vital to understand the things we value about Apex and what may place us at a disadvantage.”

The SWOT analysis will be facilitated by Dr. Stephen Straus, a faculty member in the Master of Public Administration curriculum at NC State, who is also President and Founder of Developmental Associates, LLC.

“We currently have great momentum with the Commission, and I’m looking forward to hearing their ideas.” said Weatherly. 

The Commission meeting will be held at Apex Town Hall from 11am-2pm next Tuesday, November 15th.
