Frequent summer storms with high wind and heavy rain result in delays to yard waste collection. When this happens, collection crews run as early and as late in the day as safely possible, and on weekends until routes are back on schedule. 

To assist them in speedy collection, please follow these tips:

• Separate your leaves from other yard waste, such as limbs. These two types of yard waste are collected by different trucks. 
• Make sure the yard waste is curbside, rather than in your yard.
• Do not bag your leaves. Bagged leaves cannot be collected with our vacuum trucks.
