RALEIGH — Contractors will re-open a section of Old U.S. 1(South Salem Street) between Kelly Road and Apex Barbeque Road in Apex on Thursday, July 26. The section closed on May 2011 for the construction of two bridges over the Western Wake Freeway.

NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
