Town offices will be closed Tuesday, January 1st. Trash and recycling collection will run on normal schedule Monday, December 31st. Tuesday - Friday routes will be delayed by one day. Yard waste crews will collect on Monday and Wednesday - Friday to service as many routes as possible.

Regular meetings of the Town Council are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 7 pm in the Apex Town Hall Council Chamber (2nd Floor).

Nancy Kempf is an award winning painter of seascapes, colorful city scenes and figurative art which have captured audiences across the United States. Sid Thakur is a Cary-based visual artist who explores the fragile art of cutting and carving paper by hand, mainly using scissors and knife. Anna Pollard is a web designer and illustrator who lives and works in North Carolina. Anna loves to feature animals and nature in her colored pencil illustrations. Trudy Thomson is a textile artist whose work ranges from marbled silk scarves to meticulously handwoven textiles.

Family Movie Night at the Halle All Ages. Spend a fun-filled evening viewing a film in our cozy theatre. We set up tables and ONLY 80 chairs for this special event. Enjoy a slice or two of pizza while watching the movie. Additionally, bottled water, fruit and dessert is included while you sit back and enjoy the show. FAMILY DANCE Fri, Jan 25, 7-8:30pm Traditional dance caller, Connie Carringer, will teach fun dances for the whole family: Squares, Circles, Appalachian, and more. Live, oldtime, string band music by local musicians. No experience or partner required. Tickets are $2/person or $5/family at the door.
