Event FAQs
Where should I park?
Parking is available in the lot on Saunders Street, at Town Hall and Apex Community Center (with a short walk), and all along the side streets near Salem. Please be mindful not to park on private property, or block driveway or fire hydrants.
How do I participate in the parade?
All are welcome in the parade! Children (all ages) decorate their bikes, wagons, scooters, etc. for the parade and march down Salem Street. The parade line gets pretty long, so be safe and wear sunscreen and bring water to keep cool and hydrated. (No registration necessary)
What is the splash down?
Everyone can cool off under the spray of the Apex Fire Department's fire hose! The splash down is located near the Chamber of Commerce parking lot beside Fire Station 1.
