- Black Author & Black Artist Exhibit at the Halle Cultural Arts Center originally planned for January 14th has been postponed.
- Saturday, January 15th - MLK Unity March & Prayer Rally
- 8:00 am: Gather for March
- 9:00 am: March begins at Apex First Baptist Church (419 S. Salem St.) and ends at Apex Town Hall (73 Hunter St.) with an outdoor program.
- Sunday, January 16th | 11:00 am - Social Justice Sunday at Apex First Baptist Church
Activities led by community organizer Tayon Dancy and planned in partnership with the Town of Apex, Apex First Baptist Church, Phi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and Xi Mu My Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
