All registration will be held at the Apex Community Center located at 53 Hunter Street during normal business hours. Apex residents begin registration September 24 and non-residents begin registration October 8. There will be a lottery at 8:45am on the first day of registration to determine line order. This program is not available for online registration. League age is based on a player’s age on March 31, 2017.

About Youth Basketball
The 7-8 aged boys and 7-10 aged girls will play with 8 1/2-foot baskets. The 9-10 aged boys will play with 9-foot baskets. All other age groups will play with 10-foot baskets.
Practices begin the week of November 14. One practice during the week and one game on Saturday / Sunday. Games begin December 10. Season runs through the end of February.

Join us for the Family Basketball Ham Toss! Family members join teams to shoot foul shots with a chance to win a holiday ham.
This event will be held at the Apex Community Center on Monday, December 19. Teams consist of 2 members of the same family, 1 adult (age 18 or older) and 1 child (17 and under). The winning team from each age division is that which holds the highest number of points when the scores of both participants from all 3 rounds are totaled.
Handicaps will be given to the youngest age divisions. Maximum of 1 prize ham per family. No preregistration is necessary and this event is free.
